Oculogica, Inc. is an eye tracking-based neuro-diagnostic company founded by Dr. Uzma Samadani, Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Minnesota Medical School. The company has developed the EyeBOX, the first baseline-free, aid in diagnosis of concussion to help physicians objectively evaluate patients with suspected concussions. Vice President of Marketing

Oculogica is seeking a Vice President of Marketing. Come join our team and help us change the way the world looks at brain injury, and beyond!

Responsibilities:

Lead, develop and collaborate with the Oculogica team on the following:

  • Launching a major new product in the neurological space
  • Lead the marketing function for the company, including building the team, developing budgets, and developing strategic plans
  • Marketing and demand generation
  • Business development and marketing including collateral, presentation materials and other sales and marketing asset development
  • As we are a startup, be prepared to roll-up your sleeves and perform whatever work needs to be done

Skills and background:

  • At least 15 years experience in healthcare marketing for FDA regulated products
  • Background in medical devices
  • Experience in leading at least 1 product launch and involvement with multiple product launches
  • Knowledgeable about marketing technology tools, including AdWords, Adobe Acrobat Illustrator, Salesforce.com, social media platforms, Wordpress
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including an ability to effectively collaborate with research and technical teams
  • Experience in developing annual and multi-year budgets
  • Experience in building, leading and managing a team

Customer Service Engineer

Oculogica is seeking a friendly and highly technical customer service engineer who excels at helping our customers succeed through training, solving problems, order fulfillment, and quality testing –taking our products and services to the next level.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Guide new users through the on-boarding process and training
  • Work with and help solve technical problems for our customers and research partners
  • Fulfill orders and related servicing logistics
  • Perform both high-level and in-depth product testing to ensure that new software updates and features are working great before being released
  • Inspect products to ensure the highest quality before shipping
  • Keep records and documentation of these activities to maintain regulatory compliance
  • Perform various other activities based on current company goals as needed

Full Stack Developer / Software Engineer

Join the startup that’s raising the bar in the assessment and treatment of brain injury! Oculogica is seeking a highly skilled software engineer who excels in both front-end and back-end development to be part of the team that takes our products to the next level.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Build software interfaces between system components (both software and hardware)
  • Develop and test both back-end services and front-end user interfaces
  • Support existing systems as needed
  • Collaborate across disciplines to create great solutions
  • Perform code review (and have your code reviewed)
  • Document software in accordance with regulatory requirements, such as FDA
  • Ensure high-level of reliability, usability, and aesthetic quality

What Skills and Experience You Need:

  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in software development
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in relevant discipline (e.g. computer science)
  • Strong track record of creating high quality, beautiful, and reliable software
  • Fluency in C++, C#, HTML, TypeScript, React, and Windows environments
  • Competency in source code control systems, such as git
  • Experience in Python a plus
  • Background in medical devices a plus
