What is the EyeBOX test?
The EyeBOX test is a tool that may help your physician find out if your eye movements are consistent with concussions. Results will be used together with other diagnostic tests to determine the best treatment for you.
Is the EyeBOX Right for Me?
Whether you’ve recently experienced a traumatic head injury or are currently experiencing concussion symptoms post-injury, EyeBOX assesses eye movements associated with concussions and does not require a pre-injury baseline.
What does EyeBOX certified location mean?
An EyeBOX-certified location has a healthcare technician who has gone through training on the EyeBOX concussion diagnostic device operation, and a healthcare practitioner who has gone through training on the EyeBOX report interpretation. Both of these training are provided by Oculogica, the manufacturer of the EyeBOX.
The EyeBOX certification location logo is an indication of this site’s commitment to the state-of-the-art diagnosis of concussion and a commitment to excellent patient care.
What to expect with EyeBOX
Once you’ve been properly positioned in front of the EyeBOX device, you will watch a short 4-minute video while the device records subtle eye movements. When the video starts you will be asked to watch it as it moves around the screen. EyeBOX will then analyze the data and produce a BOX score, graphs, and information for your physician to assess.
